Haleigh is a 2010 graduate of Hamilton High School where she was part of the basketball team for 3 years and softball team for 4 years. Haleigh was a 4 year letterwinner and starter for the varsity softball team. As a junior, Haleigh earned second team All GMC Shortstop, and was awarded the HHS Best Defense Award. As a senior, Haleigh was selected as First Team All GMC shortstop, awarded HHS Best Defense and Most Valuable Player.
After graduation from Hamilton, Haleigh attended Trine University where she played softball and earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Masters degree in Forensic Psychology. On the field, Haleigh started and played in all 177 games of her collegiate career, where her nationally ranked team competed in four regional tournaments, two super regional tournaments and one world series (her senior season). In both her junior and senior seasons, she was named Second Team All Conference shortstop, and All Regional Team her senior season. She was named 2014 Cheryl Cooms Award for most outstanding senior female athlete at Trine University. In 2020, Haleigh was appointed to the Hamilton Police Department where she currently works full time. Haleigh has been an assistant coach for Hamilton Middle School Girls Basketball team for 2 years and assistant coach for HHS Varsity softball for 1 year. Haleigh is a proud granddaughter, daughter, sister, wife, and mother of two boys.
Brent Fox is a graduate of Fairfield High School’s Class of 2000 and has dedicated more than a decade to coaching fastpitch softball. His coaching journey began at the recreational level while his daughter was young, where he built a strong foundation in teaching fundamentals, teamwork, and a love for the game.
Over time, Brent transitioned into competitive and select fastpitch softball, spending the past five years coaching at a higher level of play. He currently serves as President and Head Coach for the Hamilton Battle Fastpitch organization, where he leads and mentors athletes ages 16–18. Throughout his coaching career, Brent has helped develop numerous athletes who have gone on to play collegiate softball and achieve successful college careers. He is passionate about developing athletes both on and off the field, emphasizing discipline, confidence, leadership, and preparation for the next level.
In addition to his coaching leadership, Brent brings 25 years of professional experience with G&J Pepsi-Cola, where he has served as Territory Delivery Manager for the past five years. In this role, he leads and manages a delivery team with a strong focus on efficiency, accountability, and safety, ensuring effective and reliable service throughout his territory. His commitment to teamwork, communication, and high standards carries over into his coaching philosophy, making him a respected leader in both his professional career and the fastpitch softball community.
